I always dumped the stupid ones quick - and apparently that is a fairly natural response, 'cause the smart ones always dumped me pretty quick.

One of the major reasons we broke up was that she couldn't stand the fact that I am not good with directions (as in driving, finding my way around cities, etc.) She thought this was somehow "un-masculine" of me. It's really just a true lack of direction sense on my part; it's not that I'm not trying or something, I just seem to lack whatever is supposed to be in your brain that makes you able to find your way around. I would tell her it was like me bitching to her about how frustrated I was that she couldn't see things without her glasses on and complain to her that she should just try harder to see, etc. She never got the connection...

you know, the type of mormon who smokes & drinks but does it secretly. When he drank coffee in a restaurant, he made the waiter give him a decaf-doily to put under his cup, even though he was drinking caffienated coffee, so that in case any mormons were around, they would think he was drinking decaf.
he only agreed to be the receiver of oral, he hinted.
I found out he had a sort-of girlfriend the whole time we dated (not very long). She was fairly slutty, herself, and was okay that he was dating me. Eccchh!

Believe me, the attraction was purely physical - eventually, we found out we had nothing in common. She never read a newspaper, never watched a news program - wouldn't even listen to the news on the radio.
I remember one time we were camping with her extended family and a group of us were playing "Trivial Pursuit". I was on the winning team, and she wanted to give the other side a chance. The question I asked the other team was:
Q - Where would you find the Ismuth of Corinth?
A - Grece.
She read the clue over my shoulder, and gave the other team the following hint:
"If you cook up a whole pan of bacon, what do you have left in the pan?"
She worked as a delivery driver for a local florist. The owner of the shop came up with his own special nickname for her - she was "The Rocket Scientist."

Mexican guy. I mean he had his tongue and eyebrow pierced and dressed baaaaaaaaaaaadly and had this huge family living out in the f'n country practically, in the middle of f'n NO WHERE. He wanted a child and wanted one like next year if possible, listened to baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad music, I mean, total shit music, his sister had a PET hissing cockroach. (WTF???) He had absolutely no prospects, never even graduated high school and didn't have a job. What I saw in him, I have absolutely no idea. I really must have been temporarily insane. And he dumped ME! :wow:
If I ever try and date someone like that again, I've given my friends written permission to shoot me.
Now, almost a couple years later, he actually DOES have a kid on the way (he convinced his female friend to carry his child) but how he is going to support it being so young and working only one job part time, and NOT going to school...OH WELL!

We rented out the place in Punta Banda to these people, or this guy. Man, what a mistake. He told us he really wanted to buy it, but didn't have the money. Anyway, it was cherried out, we helped him move, had the house painted the colors he wanted, filled up the propane tank and pila, even provided a caretaker so we wouldn't have to be running down there . You guys, this is a nice place, let him have it for $500.00 a month. Oh, and plus gave him the month of July free.
He's bounced one check on us, and hasn't paid the rent this month. He is the biggest bullshiter I have ever seen. He has been sending us these emails that are really sick and threatening. His "girlfriend" split and left him.
Now we have to go down there on the 31st, hire a Mexican Cop, and dump/evict him.
Nice, huh?
It's a nightmare, like a scary movie of the twisted roomate or something from hell. fucking idiot.

21. Only been OFFICIALLY dumped once. |
|
Been rejected a whole lot of times. But the rest of 'em, I "officially" broke up with them, but still loved them, and they actually did the moving on. Oddly, in a "triple reverse," I think in the end they ended up being more regretful than me about it- one of them in particular (the dumb lying bitch that I hate). Boy, that's a damned shame for her.
Anyway- in a great relationship, now.

28. Does losing my job count? |
|
I had a huge screaming blow-out with the assistant manager of my old company last week.
I don't technically work there any more- I had a one year contract and let it expire because they wouldn't even consider giving me a raise even though I was the top rated teacher. (And I know for a fact that the five MEN who negotiated contracts before me all got raises or special concessions.) But I was thinking about going back anyway just because it's around the corner from my apartment, the pay is good and I love the students.
Anyway, I went in to pick up my final bonus and the new assistant manager (who's been there about three weeks) is running around like crazy because two other teachers called in sick and another was stuck in traffic. I took my money and went home. About two hours later he calls and asks if I can come in and sub for some classes. I say OK, rush through my dinner and go in to work.
When I got there I decided to nail down the pay before I went in to teach the classes. I asked him how much it was and he quoted me the normal part-time teacher salary. I know for a fact that subs who are called in on the same day get double time so I told him as much. He hemmed and hawed, said that I wasn't called in the same day because I'd been in earlier to pick up my bonus (although he never said anything about subbing that night). I told him I knew it was company policy and he could call the headquarters and check. He ran around and called a few people and then told me to come talk to him in his office.
Once we got there he put on this exasperated voice like he was talking to a f'in eight year old and said how unprofessional it was to always be asking for money and how angry the manager was going to be when he found out I'd asked to be paid double time. The little asshole had fucked up calling me in when he could have covered the classes more cheaply by asking the teachers who were already there to cover them. But he could never, ever admit that he fucked up so he tried to turn it into me being greedy and unprofessional for asking to be paid what anyone else in the same situation would be paid. Then he said he had a list of other subs he could have called (bullshit). I told him to start calling them and walked out.
So I guess I won't be working there again. The only thing worse than a dumbass is a dumbass who can't admit he doesn't know what he's doing.
