I can't vent about the stupidest person who's ever dumped me
because I've never been dumped, then again I've never been "Ok if you give me 1000 dollars, I'll go out with you but this just once ok"

5. I know what you mean
It's really hard to expose your true feelings sometimes. For me, I don't like anyone to think I'm vulnerable and I'm terrified of reaction.

6. One of the things that sucks about being a guy is
You generally have to be the one to ask, heh is it any wonder that I am considering making my senior quote "Why can't every dance be like a Sadie Hawkins dance". Yeah, I fear reaction too, exactly.

14. NO NO NO!!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

No, John. Seriously, no.

NEVER "tell a girl you like her more than as a friend." You do that, that's a one-way ticket to Friendsville.

No feelings first, at all. I know you're young and you probably won't listen to me. I guess this is something every man has to learn for himself.

But that's the key- get in the pants, first, then talk about feelings. It does NOT work the other way. Ever.

16. Ok.
Geez, John. Damned near gave me a heart attack, there.

The damage that men have done to potential relationships by "talking about their feelings" with women before hitting it. Me, in particular. I was a DUMB....ASS. :)

18. BullGooseLoony, that's just loony bull!

If a guy has feelings for a girl and doesn't tell her, he could lose her rather than get in her pants. Most girls don't have any patience for the macho studs who never share their feelings, or have no feelings, just try to score with every girl they know.

John, I'm talking from the female point of view, and if it's obvious to a girl that you're shy, she'll understand why you don't talk about your feelings. Girls notice how you look at them, how much you call or talk to them a school, etc. There are lots of ways to show you care for someone without words. But you DO need to ask them out, or find ways to be with them!

19. No, John. Don't listen!
She's just trying to trick you!!!

Girls don't like guys who are too scared to make a move. Talking about "feelings" is a way of deferring to the woman to make a decision- they do NOT go for that.

21. There's a common ground between every way.
Not all girls are the same.
and besides how could I get in her pants without the girl knowing I like her like that, I'd have to let her know I would like to go out for dinner or something.

22. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!
John, you can get in their pants even if they're not sure if you like them.

JOHN: You can get in their pants ESPECIALLY if they're not sure if you like them.

It's a nasty, nasty game, John. But you gotta play it right.

You're the wolf, they're the bunny rabbits.

24. LOL
Myself I've hand problems with the "getting into pants" part w/o making my feelings known, I mean how many would want to give it up to someone who they don't know how they feel. But the "She's just trying to trick you!!!" comment has got me cracking up, especially after I've had the giggles from seeing that Bush picture.

28. Yeah, one thing that I had a hard time realizing
was that women like the idea of having sex, too. You gotta hit the right buttons, though.

I guess the difference is that guys don't have buttons when it comes to sex, while girls do. And the "Total Shutdown" button is the "I really have feelings for you, Jessica" line, if you don't already have a physical relationship. Backa the line, backa the line.

29. I don't think I ever to had to use a line
Most of the time we just knew what the feelings were and that they were there. You could tell by the actions.

20. I am subtle about it supposely
When we've hanged out, my friends have noticed that I've shown signs of a crush on who I like. Oh, I know damn well about guys who refuse to show their feelings, thats my brother, he thinks hes tough shit because he doesn't and he gives me shit for it. What I am saying is the crush in question is already friends with me.

25. Man, you gotta hide it. You HAVE to.
I'm tellin' ya....you CAN'T SHOW YOUR CARDS before you "close the deal" sexually. It just...won't...work.

You can have a GREAT time with a girl. That's ideal, actually- that's the lead-up to "the move." But no verbal mentions of "the relationship" or "you're a great girl" or anything that gives her the impression that she's got her hooks in ya. In fact, you gotta charm her in a way that leaves her with the impression that you're just trying to butter her up- the whole "wink-nudge" kind of persona.

Gotta save the sappy stuff until later or you'll get stuck in the "break in case of emergency" box.

27. Excellent...here's a great tip...

If you think she might like you a little, here's your equivalent of "yanking the line": tell her you have a "kind of" girlfriend.

Not that I'm advocating lying, here. I absolutely do NOT believe in lying, under any circumstances.

However, if there's another girl you're kind of seeing, tell her about her. It works great on the younger women, in particular. And you can stretch reality a little bit, too, if you like (everyone does- a little). They get insanely jealous, and give you the upper hand straight up.

Keep in mind that you have to be having a good time with her already, though- it's just like a fish. She's gotta be nibblin'- then you yank that pole.

On edit: Make sure you let her know that things aren't going that well with the other girl. You're fighting too much, and such, you know.

30. Lousy tip! John, girls don't like guys who play too many games

with them. Do you want to date a girl who plays games like that, pretending she's seeing someone else to make you jealous? Of course not, so why would a girl want to date a guy like that?

Bigger question, why would a girl have sex with a guy who plays games with her, never mentions he likes her, and basically treats her like shit? The answer is that such a girl has major self-esteem problems.

32. John, who knows more about bunny rabbits: wolves or bunny

rabbits themselves? ;-)

Wolves are always complaining they don't understand bunny rabbits. Or coming up with ways to fool the rabbits. But we rabbits are wise as well as cute and cuddly, and we can fool wolves, too!
