We will not let this stand. The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition calls on all those who want to hold a visible demonstration to come to the site of the inauguration, where the whole world will indeed be watching. Be there by 9:00 a.m. Make a pledge to be at the site of the inauguration. Don't let Corporate America, the Bush administration and the U.S. government make you invisible. We are launching a political struggle, and a legal effort, to secure the rights of the people to be visible on Pennsylvania Avenue with signs and slogans denouncing the Bush administration for its criminal war on Iraq and its anti-people policies at home. At the same time as we are continuing to secure permits along the parade route we want to make it clear to everyone you do not need a permit to come to Pennsylvania Avenue and to make your views known. Pennsylvania Avenue does not belong to Corporate America and the ultra-right. Everyone organizing buses, car caravans or individual transportation should be at Pennsylvania Ave. by 9:00 am on January 20.

if you could be there, i cannot, but...
i really wouldn't figure there to be a spot by then.this is just a guesstimate right? they'll be there in droves, don't you think? this just seems pretty late to me.

1. with such a call to arms holding signs for democracy ... i thought your

own two arms might be there holding a sign or two as well ...
i could try to be "CUTE" or to PLAY DEVIL'S ADVOCATE and ask, if something goes wrong are you going to let the others take the bullet? but I WON'T. I AM SURE YOU HAVE A MORE THAN ENOUGH GOOD REASON FOR NOT BEING THERE.. and by the way... your callto arms is beautiful and inspiring.

2. its not my call

i wasn't being CUTE or ADVOCATING ANYTHING-INCLUDING THE USE OF THE CAPS LOCK KEY. I WOULD MORE THAN LOVE TO BE THERE, AND IF I COULD I WOULD BE THERE A LOT EARLIER THAN 9 AM. CHRIST, PEOPLE WAITED OUTSIDE DEPT STORES LONGER THAN THAT ON BLACK FRIDAY. OBVIOUSLY THE POINT OF THIS POST HAS ELUDED YOU. BUT NOT THE CAPS LOCK KEY. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT PERFECTLY.

and i fully meant it when i said i liked your call because i truly believe a voice has to be heard that we in America are not happy with GWB and the coronation of his fascist power grab.

i'm a little hung over, and i probly read too much maddox. i just find it odd that answer would mass email for the morning of the event. i think the right will be there in mass, and there early. if i wasn't in memphis waiting tables to feed my son, i would be there. it will be a terrible day, and i think with bloodshed. i wish i could be there to help.
