The last time the Sox won the World Series and then sold away its star pitcher to a New York team that player's name was Babe Ruth.....now, granted, they waited a year before selling Ruth, but Sox fans can't be at least a little nervous with the similarities.....

Even with that in mind, from the prospective of a life-long Mets fan the trade stinks and just shows how little attention the team pays to actually trying to put a winning team together....
