Anyone know the difference between pleading guilty and pleading no contest

1. Essentially none.

You're still convicted of whatever the underlying charge is. There are some pretty esoteric differences in a FEW select situations, but again, the result is the same.

3. pleading guilty means you admit you did it

entering a nolo plea means you aren't claiming guilt, but that you think there is enough evidence against you that you could be convicted - don't plead guilty if you can plead nolo contendre

7. Nolo is not ad admission of guilt

A guilty plea can be used as an admission in any subsequent legal proceeding while a nolo plea can not be used. If there is a chance of civil litigation, then nolo is a safer plea.
