Real fundies don't say "Merry Christmas" they say "Blessed Christmas"
And they don't have any of those pagan Christmas trees either.

1. Man! I would love to hear that!
I'd shoot back with , "And a happy annual gift day to you too!" That's what we call it my agnostic house. Then we have roasted babies for dinner. ;-)

8. That's good - I'll try and remember that one. I just think it is really
funny how all of these fundies are getting all high and mighty and talking about boycotting stores that use "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" - as if the latter were somehow "more Christian." Even funnier is that one meaning of "merry" is gay so maybe we should start saying "Have a Gay Christmas" to the fundies and see how they appreciate that.

4. To an Old-Time Scottish Calvinist,
Christmas should not be celebrated at all.

5. Why not reply with the original greeting for the season
"Lo, Saturnalia!" (Lo being said as "yo")

After all, the church just assigned the 25th as Jesus' birthday in order to take steam away from this Roman celebration of the Winter solstice and giving thanks to the god, Saturn.
