I worked there for two summers, Denali Nat. Park.

Don't think abt it, just go.

An amazing place. No way to describe it. Words are a waste.

Magical.

the constant day light (this was in august) nearly drove me insane. The constant darkness of winter would no doubt drive me right over the edge.

3. Beautiful country.
My sister has been up there for 15 years. She and husband love it. It does take some getting used to the darkness during the winter.

6. They pay you to live there!
Every year each resident gets around $1,000 from the oil fund. So my brother and his wife who live there had four kids to increase their take. They also love it there and won't come back.
