Ice Cream Headache!!! OOOOUUUCCCCHHHH!!!!

My throat is sore today, part of the cold I'm complaing about to everyone who will listen. To sooth my sore throat I'm eating some ice cream. It is so good and makes my thoat feel better so I ate it too fast and now my head hurts. :cry:

it takes like the ice cream my mom used to make out of snow. I loved that stuff.

simple to make

cream, sugar, beaten egg. mix with snow.

'course, these days you have to worry about salmonella.

Not if I make it - I still hand-crank my own version of the family recipe using my grandmother's White Mountain freezer, and nobody's complained of so much as a tummy ache.

you can just stir egg nog into snow.. its pretty close to the taste

5. Cure

An ice cream headache is caused by the constriction of blood vessles in your neck from the cold. A quick "cure" is to hold your nose with your mouth closed and blow -- like you do in an airplane when you are trying to equalize the pressure in your ears. Try it. It works.
