Does the ad for mottocitizens.com on AAR creep you out?

It freaks me out when I hear it. It's like dictionary man speaking or something.

My impersonation of it:

"When the bird of paradise flies lovingly into your wounded soul, that is when the tangent of understanding undoes the apex of world wide angst. There is an effective and overbearing set of tapes that will help you at..."

:scared:

1. I don't know... I find his voice sort of intriguing.....
At least he speaks to a liberal religious perspective...although the echo I hear behind his voice may be what you find disconcerting...

The AJC ad, on the otherhand has me a little bit concerned..(American Jewish Committee), just because it seems to go out of its way to blame the Palestinians for all the problems in recent years. I really long for a more conciliatory message from BOTH sides, especially if they are going to air radio ads.

2. The ad I hate on Air America is
the one for gay marriage - you know the one either with a gay man saying he'll be reeeaaal late again, so sorry or the the one with the pissed off lesbian who's partner is 45 minutes late! And then it says something like gays have the same marriage problems as straights. Ugh, I would think there is some other way of presenting the idea of gay marriages other than that kind of downer. For the record - I am a lesbian.

3. I like his voice...
Have you checked out the website

www.mottocitizens.com

You have to be impressed by people who aren't afraid of a really big mustache. :-)

Your impersonation is dead on.
