2. But not most of the "Happy Xmas" covers...
And what about the Beatles Fan Club Xmas recordings the Fabs did?

4. McCartney's wasn't bad
as Xmas carols go - but comes nowhere close to Lennon's it's like comparing Do They Know It's Christmas (the original Band Aid version) to Winter Wonderland - nothing wrong with Winter Wonderland but it really doesn't say anything meaningful.

5. Lennon, of course
The McCartney song is annoying.

7. I heard kind-of a "mash-up"...
...between "Jingle Bells" and "Tommorow Never Knows" yesterday when I was in Potbelly's sub shop. I guess it's from this:

9. Both.
As always, I can't choose between the two. Lennon's lyrics have more meaning, but McCartney has the catchier tune.

11. Paul's song is one of the worst ever
and not just in terms of Christmas songs; it is simply putrid and foul beyond words. I utterly detest it.
