An hour show is only 30 minutes after commercials, and I hate the ones in the movie theaters before the movie.

An hour show is closer to 42 minutes; a half-hour show is 21.
Sick.
Of course, that gives them the means to sell DVDs of the shows because they are uncut (assuming they don't delete skits due to kopyright and other reasons, right 'In Living Color' season 2?)

I hate the previews and things they put before the movie on DVDs now. I don't know if you have seen it yet. If I wanted to see the previews I would have gotten the video.

It never ceases to amaze me at how many commercials allude to the fact that people are stupid or helpless without whatever product or service the ad is hocking.

In case there are those that are scared to death of the possiblity:
No, dammit, fire will not rain down from the sky if gay and lesbian couples appear in commercials. Plagues of locusts will NOT sweep across the land. Civilization will NOT collapse.
Actually, businesses who don't target the gay community via advertising are...well, fucking stupid, from a marketing standpoint. We've got some serious bucks...of the disposable kind...in the gay community. In other words, economic clout. And businesses ARE fucking stupid if they don't...or won't...tap into this lucrative market.
