I was so not prepared for this day
Boys are phoning my house and requesting to speak with my daughter (after several moment of stunned silence when she doesn't answer).

1. LOL I remember those days
Not a very comfortable feeling, is it? Especially when I remembered the shit I got up to when I started dating!

My (pretty big and not in a fat way) ex husband used to greet dates by sitting in the living room cleaning a rifle. That seemed to work pretty well - at any rate, the boys were quite respectful.

2. How old is she?
I was 10 when I called my first girl. The parents were not happy.

4. She turns 13 on the 31st.
Several years ago (kindergarten through 2nd grade) boys would phone often. "Can Jo come out and play ball?" "Can I come over and play Nintendo?" Of course, we entered the 'boys have cooties' stage of life. I'm guessing that is over now. When he phoned tonight he asked for "Jocelyn" and sounded like he'd been distance running.

5. That's so cute but
I would guess it's pretty scary for a mother. She'll be o.k.

I had like 25 girlfriends in one year when I was in sixth and seventh grade.

Now I'm gay. Go figure!!
