"Bell, Book and Candle." An interesting movie for Siamese Lovers and
Edited on Wed Dec-15-04 08:31 PM by KoKo01
folks who like the mystic. :D I have two Siamese, if you please...am a mystic and there's nothing that's music to my ears like those Siamese yowls...but then...I'm a little different.

It's a kind of nice "off the beaten path" Christmas Movie if anyone hasn't seen it...but it's weird and slow paced...not to everyone's taste.

One of my favorites
I LOVE that movie. Bought it on video tape years ago.

Also, I had an uncle who had a siamese named Piwacket (or however the hell you spell it)

Good call.

3. I have the video. Friends bought it for me after I named my cat
Pyewacket. She wasn't a Siamese, but I loved the name and she was a nice long haired black cat. It fit her.

Great movie. I wish Hollywood wouldn't have black-listed Kim Novak. She's always so interesting to watch.

6. Your baby is very pretty! A lilac point/grey point? Mine are Chocolate
Point "traditionals." Apple Heads...not the skinny ones being pushed today with those freaky bodies and weird space alien heads. Mine are "traditional "apple heads." But, both are very nutty...:D

8. Pad Thai is a technically a Blue point Siamese
Also I think there is another variety of Siamese called the classic, they are thinner in build than the apple head but not like the moderns. Pad Thai is a classic.

He's also a very sweet boy who is as devoted to me. I love this little guy so!

10. I had to track down the VHS a few years ago...
...I saw that movie on TV as a child and was totally hooked on it.

Couldn't get the music that Gillian hums to her cat Pyewacket out of my head for weeks!

Gonna have to drag it out now that you've mentioned it.

Oh! and don't forget to watch Jack Lemmon and Ernie Kovacs in this! They're both fabulous! :)

13. Re-watching last night: "House Un-American Activities Committee" mentioned
It's kind of fascinating what turns up in these old movies. As many times as I've seen it...somehow I missed that reference. Last night it jumped out at me when Jimmy Stewart said it because It's COMING BAAAAACK!
