I take it back - I love LA
My wacky modern hotel room has a huge - and I mean huge, like Olympic-sized - tub in the middle of the room. I just soaked in a molten hot bath for an hour with a candle burning, drinking a vodka and Orangina cocktail that burned the hairs out of my nose. The sky today was that singular California blue, and it was warm, and there were beautiful women everywhere.

5. meh
I still think that NY and Boston have more soul. Though I certainly can't argue that LA beats both in the sunny, cocktail weather department..

10. NY has way more soul and culture
but LA does have the weather and the hotties are on par with the NY hotties lookswise...the NYers are way more educated and sophisticated though. I prefer NY, but I am in LA now....though I may move to NY really soon if something works out...

12. Eh...the hotties
I've never liked the fake LA look. Granted NY can have that, but there's something about how LA is just saturated with that look...I just don;t like it.

7. Just a thought..... Dinner at the Border Grill in Santa Monica on 4th
Lunch at Musso & Franks in Hollywood, old Hollywood. Maybe take a drive along Mullholland and try Gladstone's 4 Fish in Pacific Pallisades on the beach. Lived there for five years.

8. Welcome to LA
If you have time, you should go to the Sunset Plaza Coffee Bean and just sit in the sun and have a cup while you do a little work....It is just west of La Cienega.on Sunset...There are so many hotties going in and out of there ALL THE TIME...You may even get friendly with one of them!

let's do lunch sometime, I'll call you.

p.s. try breakfast at Brentwood Farmer's Market at Gretna Green & San Vicente , you never know who you might bump into and the veggies are "fresh fresh".
