5. got to see a UK Football game, they got their asses handed to them |
|
by Georgia, but it was fun! funny story (or not that funny:): i ended up going home with a girl who goes to UK for grad school, and she owns a house right next to the field where UK's band practices (and a 2 min. walk from the stadium, i could see it from her bedroom window). she was a horsetrainer, so she had to leave at 5:30AM to go to the stables (we'd gotten back from the bars about 3 hours earlier). so i went to sleep at 5:30 b/c she was going to be back by 10. well, at 8:00AM, i woke up to the goddamn Kentucky fight song; i didn't know that was where the band practiced. they practiced their routine for 2 hours straight; so i got absolutely no sleep. by the time i met back up with my brother to go to the huttle house and then to the game; i knew the whole halftime routine (he was impressed) :D

Meant to reply to the original post. Yeah, University of Kentucky football sucks, but from what I'm told, we're only a couple of recruiting classes away from 6-5. :eyes:

The Kentucky Derby is a mass hallucination. That explains EVERYTHING.
Too bad I like mint juleps, Derby pie, and hot browns. Food is always my downfall... ;-)

As far as I know, the Cincinnati airport is really located in Covington, Kentucky.
Does that count?

17. I have even been under the ground in Kentucky..... |
|
in more than 10 places.
Cut a slice out of that state and the cross section would look like a piece of Swiss cheese!!!
Gee I could just put a lamp on my:tinfoilhat: and go caving!!!
Kentucky always shows up for basketball season, even if it is hiding out the rest of the year.

I definitely need a cave fix, I haven't been underground for over a year.
Are you a Kentuckian? Where do you live? I grew up south of Bowling Green, near Tennessee.

It's all a sound stage in a secret location in the Arizona desert. They have dead aliens out there. And fried chicken. Mmmm.

26. Where is that state that Fort Knox is located? |
|
I remember visting that alleged state with my family when I was 10. That's all I remember about it...driving by it.
Oh...and we went inside this big cave when we were there.
Maybe you're right. Maybe it doesn't exist.
