26. Thanks, it's been a stressful week.
New job and perhaps another one coming along with a big decision between the two.

What do you think, Zomby? I could use some Zombyfeedback. The money is nearly equal and they are both in health care.

Job A (the one I have now): I little more changing and offers me a bit more prestige and independence (independence and more responsibility a plus to me), but less related to my future career goals when I'm an RN in two years.

Job B (the one I will likely be offered as well- in step 2 of the interview process- I applied for it before I knew I got Job A): Less challenging, but more interrelated to the field I want to go into, but a bit lower on the totem pole and less independence.

27. Job A
I share your predilection for independence and responsibility. If it pays more, that is the icing, because you can't have too much financial independence in the Bushonomy. If it doesn't, I still think Job A has an edge, for the former reasons listed.

When it is time to be an RN, you will be ready, regardless of staying with Job A for the time being. Whatever challenges/promotions come your way then, you will be qualified. Employers look at your potential as much as your experience, and of course, your brains. Good help is harder to find more and more!

Job A. :-)

34. Thanks for the feedback.
With Job A, I'm officially only 20 hours (but I have benefits), but I should get more supposedly (and knowing this place, it's the truth). A full-time spot just opened up that I'll apply for instead (being already hired there is an advantage) and I'm think that if I get the full-time slot, I'll stick with Job A.

If not and Job B is a guaranteed full-time thing, I'll go with that. All should be well either way, it's just too much to decide and my brain is gettin' all twisty and turny.

Must chill. :D
