1. I really didn't like that movie
I feel like I'm the only person on earth who didn't, however.

7. I found it boring and tedious and I didn't care about the characters
Soundtrack was great, like all of Wes Anderson's films, though.

9. ah
See, the movie is like an exact replica of my family, so I instantly connected with the characters.
I loved the mood of the movie too.

12. I get that feeling whenever I watch a Bergman film
Small, quietly suffering families of Swedish descent. :D

21. Holy crap - I couldn't have put it better myself!
lol

watching the movie made me wanna shoot myself quickly rather than drawing it out painfully over the course of the entire flick...

17. One of my absolute favorites

It actually made me like Paltrow and Stiller, until then I had been iffy about both.

I love that movie, everything about it makes me happy.

All the acting is so good and the soundtrack rulz!

"It's been a rough year, dad." that line just makes me weepy.

How could you not like it!?!

16. You aren't
I really didn't get into it either.

I mean it was *ok* and that's about it.

Moody melancholy Gwyneth with too much black eyeliner and those damn Polo dresses. ROFL!

23. Make that 2 people on earth...
Dull, tedious, and with unpleasant, one-dimensional characters that I just couldn't give a shit about.

Stylish but annoying and utterly pointless.

3. I slept through the last 45 minutes.
Maybe I was just tired, but I thought it became tedious.

18. Prententious pretentiousness.
Wes Anderson's films confuse me with their popularity and critical acclaim.

19. He picks great music for the soundtracks, I'll give him that
Personally, I would prefer to just listen to the music and not watch the movies, but that's just me.

20. Eh, it seemed to cover the same themes as Rushmore
just with greater emphasis on "quirks" and eye candy, less on character development

Reminded me a lot of Salinger's chronicles of the Glass family
