3. Singing , you said singing. |
|
Too early for satire, on the west coast anyway.

2. This song is the most over destroyed of Christmas music |
|
it's a song that requires a classical voice in order to be sung correctly. I dread anyone with less than an operatic set of pipes who tries to conquer it.

6. Yes a good classically trained baritone voice is best |
|
for this song. I think that it really isn't a woman's song to sing at all.

...plug it into your computer and make an MP3.
I'd love to hear you.

7. I have to admit, I like to give Christmas albums an initial listen, |
|
because its a quick way to tell if a pop artist can sing or not. Most often not, but sometimes you get surprised.
I had an MP3 of an Ave Maria which was labeled Sarah Brightman. Not my favorite singer, but my wife liked it, so I kept it. A year or two later I ran across Jewel singing the same Ave Maria. IT WAS THE SAME EXACT TRACK!! It turned out that my MP3 was just mislabeled and it was actually Jewel. It was very good by the way.
PS. Yes I know she studied opera...

4. I'm glad I am not alone. That woman destroys every song. |
|
She does not sing, she moans in several octaves and thinks that is singing.

10. Well, it can't suck more than a Whitney Houston Xmas song would |
|
Someone needs to take Whitney aside and tell her, "Um, maybe no one has pointed this out to you, but, well, yelling on key is not the same as singing!"
Some people love Whitney's voice (just look at how popular "I Will Always Love You" was) but I don't understand the appeal.

Do You Hear What I Hear. But admittedly, that's the only song of hers that I like.
