Musical Musings For the Morning

I'm off work today and on Xmas Break from school and I'm bored out of my skull. So what do I do when I'm bored? Why subject myself to godawful music videos. After watching 2 hours of MTV, VH1, MTV Hits, VH1 Classic, VH1 Soul and Fuse my brain feels like a fried egg.

Here is what I have observed

Blink 182 may just be the worst band of all time. I have seen two of their videos already this morning and both songs were ridiculously bad. The music itself is not terrible but the vocals make me want to pour mercury into my ears and end it all.

I complain about bad music nowadays but what the fuck was the 80s deal? For every Cure and U2 there was a Gary Numan. It was some godawful live song with a big fucking triangle behind him and two mini pyramids on stage. It kinda reminded of the Stonehenge in Spinal Tap. I swear to god that guy may be the biggest dork I have ever seen.

Franz Ferdinand's first single was damn good. This song just sucks.

GOOD GOD WHAT IS IT WITH ALL THESE SUBURBAN WHITE BOYS FEELING SORRY FOR THEMSELVES!! They are all in there 20s and are STILL whining about high school. You were made fun of...BOOHOO GET OVER IT!! I take that back about Blink 182 being the worst band ever. That honor goes to My Chemical Romance. I dont want to hear sorta-metal gear solos in cheeseball pop-punk.

I think it's pretty cool that everybody in U2 is old enough to be my dad and they are still one of the biggest bands in the world. This morning I saw With Or Without You on VH1Classic and Vertigo on MTV Hits.

And Hoobastank still sucks.

I know that was incoherent but I feel much better
