It was good, but not great.

Sam Adams Chocolate Bock.

IMO, if they wanted to make a bock, they should have left out the black patent malt (which is more common in porters).

I also bought a Belgian Abbey Ale (Maredsous 10degree Trippel) for $5 that was much, much better than the Boston beer.

So, what's the most expensive beer you've ever had?

6. Dear gods! Were you in Tokyo?
Now, maybe because our family business was a rural tavern, but I still feel the right price for a glass of beer ought to be about 70 cents....

They tax HEAVILY to try to deal with the winter seasonal heavy "depressive" drinking and the subsequent problem with alcoholism. Whew boy....! Lots of Kronas!

13. $11 for a bottle of Heineken on the top of the WTC in 2000
The most expensive, and, in hindsight, one of the most memorable beers in a very long roster.

It was very cool being on top of the World with my brother and looking down at the roofs of other skyscrapers that were a mere 70 or 80 stories tall.

I will probably always remember that beer and that bar.

Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 01:31 PM by LoZoccolo
It comes in some neat clay bottle you can put up on your mantle or something.

Click on "view" in it's row to see a picture:

I don't think it was expensive as your beer though.
