A lot of the regulars couldn't make it. It was sort of a spur of the moment thing...FSC was in town for a funeral...she suggested the meetup a week or so before we got together.

I wish you were there, also. We would have had a great time.

Yeah...a lot of people...including my best friend, Scott, the first person I came out to as gay...and the first man I fell in love with...didn't survive the 80's. Scott did crystal, also. He survived it...and tried to warn ME against it. But, well...

Scott died of AIDS. I still miss him terribly.

On about 4 occaisions, only because the preceeding occaisions were 'fruitless'.

I AM IMMUNE TO IT. I'm not kidding. I got absolutely NOTHING out of it each time I tried it, all from different sources. The last time, I watched it being made, I snorted a line beforehand and it was indeed great stuff.

But the rocks, no matter how much I smoked (from a gram) I got absolutely NOTHING while others were speeding out their brains and picking at the carpet and all kinds of psychotic stuff. Everyone was freaked out that it wasn't 'working' on me. I still don't understand it, though today I'm glad for it.

That was the last night I ever did anything of the sort. It is truly evil shit, from seeing what it did to others. It's like it turned off the parts of their minds responsible for saying "no" and "that's good enough." It changes their personalities for a long time afterwards, too.

I thought we were going to "hook up" and then we drove around for like an hour so he could look for some more of the shit.


When he stopped and got out of the car one time, I drove off and threw the pipe out the window.

He was a fucking mess but I guess he controlled it well enough b/c I didn't know he was a user until he got into my car and we went looking for it.

I guess I'm lucky nothing worse happened to me.
