Can't download, what shall I do? (not technical problem, in a way) |
|
I've been trying to download a 380MB patch file from a company I will no longer support...
I get to 95-98% completed when their server times out. It ALWAYS gets to about 364MB and then it's in the 'danger zone'.
I am unable to continue the download from Netscape or Firefox, so I have to start all over.
Glad I have broadband or I'd be angryier.
Is there an easy way I can set up a batch program to automatically re-download the file at given intervals? (Firefox can automatically rename, should the download be successful (BOL!))

it supports file resume. Just enable monitor clipboard, right-click the file link, and copy location.
