1. Edit Your Title
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 10:17 PM by iamjoy
to put Apprentic spoiler in the title & the name of the winner in the message.

West Coasters may not have seen it yet.

Was Kelly the bridal shop owner or the lawyer? I didn't watch & get those pretty blondes mixed up.

10. you don't have time zones?
So if you live in the west it doesn't get light until about 10 am in the winter?

12. We do... but it's difficult to explain... We don't think about the West
coast like you people do... It'a very "American" to think that way... That why they call us the "two solitudes"

I think Kelly was a bore. But Jen was a witch. All I kept thinking was that all of them including Donnyboy Trump, were people I wouldn't want to have anything to do with.

Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 10:21 PM by tjdee
After her shady behavior on the Levi's project, I could not believe she kept getting by.

Actually, I could. Know lots of women like her.

Very happy to see that someone qualified is actually getting work today (unlike Kerik, etc.). Kelly seems like a good guy. A bit boring, but so what.

11. Ivana came up with the idea for a catalogue for Levis
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 10:30 PM by Love Bug
and when it came time to make the presentation to the client, Jen took credit for it. I'm surprised Ivana lasted as long as she did, but she didn't deserve that.

I can't stand Jen. She's aggressive instead of assertive, thinking that is the way to get ahead. She also trades on her looks, big time. I don't doubt she's intelligent, and to be honest, I'd probably want her as a lawyer, but she can't get along with anyone, which is essential if you want people to follow you and respect you as a leader.

33. Ivana got hosed, IMO
She's the one who came up with the winning wheel idea, and Jen just took all the credit. I couldn't stand her after that.

I'm glad I forgot to watch last night's finale. Sounds pretty boring.

15. Ivana came up with this "jean wheel" as a catalog...
Their task was to design a catalog for Levi's. Whatever team Ivana, Jen, and Kevin were on...they were all together. Ivana said hey, instead of doing a catalog, why don't we do a wheel, so if you wanted relaxed fit, you turn it to see what jeans they have.

Jen didn't understand that. She kept saying "can you explain it again? I just need to see it maybe." Whoever the leader on the task was put her on the computer with "busy work".

Then, they did the presentation--and JEN started doing all the talking. The Levi's guy said how did you come up with the jean wheel, and JEN started talking right away with this vague stuff that sounded good (I rarely get angry at TV, and she did it for me that night). Then Donald comes out and asks the Levi's guy who he thinks did the best, and he says JEN seemed like she was the one on top of it. She just beamed, Ivana I think wanted to rip her heart out...ugh.

But I guess Jen gets away with stuff like that--she's not going to be unemployed after this.

They played up the West Point thing tonight, but overall she kept being on the losing team.

Just based on task success, Kelly had the advantage.

Jen didn't deserve jack.

to show any leadership ability at all. Her only asset was that she was very powerful in the board room. Seems she saves all her energy for putting other people down.

16. seeing just one episode of this complete shit...
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 10:37 PM by enki23
has pissed me off more than any television, outside fox news and republican noise, has ever been capable of doing.

i saw a couple minutes of john and elizabeth edwards talking about all those americans, all of *us* americans, who don't have health insurance, who don't have a fucking chance. i saw that during a commercial break, as my girlfriend, who actually chooses to watch this shit, flipped through the channels. then, i get to see some smug prick being showered with praise, and a job supervising the building of some ultra-luxury building, or some other conspicuously disgusting building project for the edification of the capitalists...

i want to strip everything from them--every one of them--put a mark on them, and leave them to starve in the fucking street.

this is why i seldom watch tv.

Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 06:40 PM by enki23
what a load of complete fucking crap. trump's money didn't materialize from thin fucking air. his wealth, as all wealth, is at the expense of others. middle class democrats will not be living in the buildings they build for donald fucking trump.

let's hear some more bullshit about the "arrogance" of the underclasses, and the "arrogance" of those who dare to advocate for them. i grew up on a family fucking farm, working from the day i could god damned walk to help feed the fucking nation. we were fucking sharecroppers, and never owned a god damned acre. that's not a joke. we worked the land for the benefit of the landowners who inherited it. we worked like god damned dogs, and did it for what? so we could eat fucking government cheese, when we could get it, and watch my father destroy his health working long hours under bad conditions and have nothing whatsoever to show for it. arrogance is an asshole who think's it's "arrogant" to say fuck you to the assholes who think we should be grateful that there are people in this world who have cornered enough of our labour's value that they can fucking pay us to build luxury housing for them, housing we could never hope to fucking afford for ourselves.

arrogant? fuck you.

Honestly, I lost interest in this season after the first four episodes. I didn't enjoy any of these people. At least Troy, Kwame and a few others were likable when the show started and kept me watching.
Now you have this new group of people that have already seen the first season and think they've figured out how to win it....

I'll stick to LOST! :D

wears the Tucker Carlson bow ties a little too tight for my taste, dude.

Bingo!

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6436275/

<snip>

Real estate developer and frequent bow tie wearer Raj Bhakta, 28, was the latest candidate fired by Trump on the second season of “The Apprentice.” As project manager of the Apex team, Bhakta failed to increase the value of a Long Island house, and the Mosaic team won.

“Showing the full spread of my personality was both a blessing and a bane in many ways,” said Bhakta. He said he’s been accosted by fans on the streets of Philadelphia. One woman, he said, “doubled over like she had seen John Lennon.”

Bhakta, a moderate Republican with political aspirations, said of his newfound fame: “I’ve always been famous in my own mind.”

Note to Raj: "John Lennon" and "Republican" in the same story? I don't think those mix. Give me a break, guy! Geez!
