3. Try squirting salt water up your nostril.
It should help heal it and bring it to a head.

4. I'd just leave it
Messing with it may just make it feel more painful/annoying, so it might just be easier to give it a little time to fade away.

Of course, if it already hurts like hell, maybe popping it won't hurt. At least since it's (I figure) not visible or anything you won't have to worry about what it will look like busted. So yeah, just do what feels the most natural, I guess. haha

6. Don't Mess With It!!! The last thing you want is an infection that could
EASILY migrate to your brain. Just leave it alone.

7. hold a hot damp washcloth on it
that will help it come to a head and burst on its own. Wash with a little soap to keep clean. Or peroxide if you can stand that in your nose. <shivers>

11. I once had a pimple inside my ear canal.
Man, that was annoying.

Finally it popped on its own (sorry if that's yucky, but it did) then it went away.

Never had that happen before or since.

9. I had one in my nose for an entire two month hiking trip once...

talk about painful.

Someone told me just recently that it could have been a hygiene thing (bathing on trail is a weekly luxury ... if you're lucky). Anyway, they said I should have tried some antibiotic ointment.

In your case it's probably a dietary thing. Carbs are the cause of all evils, friends. I'm serious, untold hundreds of ailments come from over consumption of carbs. Carbs are most definitely associated with pimples.

12. You might be correct on the carbs
or dietary thing. I keep myself clean, I do take vitamins, but I also have a cold sore on the side of my mouth. Okay, I'm not dating so it must be dietary. It has been years since I've had a cold sore or a pimple -- could be too many tomatoes. Actually it is too much shrub.

13. I love carbohydrates.
Of course, I'm also like 10 pounds underweight. Man, do I need to gain weight. Life at University of Chicago is insane intense. Half the nights I don't even have a chance to eat dinner--hell, I've lost 15 pounds since I came, and when I started I was pushing underweight. But now that I'm home for Christmas break, I've gained half a pound in the last three days alone, so I'm not quite as worried as I used to be.

Whoops. Digression.
