Sorry, i have to post a picture of my new guitar....
Edited on Fri Dec-17-04 01:20 AM by toddzilla
This pic is hosted somewhere else.. but this thing is amazing..

Hamer newport pro custom, ruby red, Hand carved solid spruce top (not a laminate!) Mahogany ONE PIECE body, trapeze tailpiece, duncan humbuckers, full body and neck binding.. Ebony fretboard, MOP inlays, the list goes on and on. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Supreme goodness, the best guitar i've ever played.. bar none.

2. I'm primarily a blues player
But this thing is so versatile, master of puppets sounds pretty damn good on it!

4. Smooth.. ridiculously smooth.
This thing really does smoke any 335 i've ever played, it has the total warmth of a hollowbody but really has a thickness that is amazing. If you're a serious player and you've never tried a USA Hamer Gtuiar you're missing out big time.

8. I'll do it! You are SOOOOOO luckY!
The most exciting thing I've received guitar-wise is rescuing one of my Strats from my son's bedroom floor- covered in laundry and Pringle's cans and Cds.

I've been too sad to play the last few days. A new git-fiddle always works wonders though.

Lucky Toddzilla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :headbang:

10. What a fab job for a picker
You get to play with all the newest toys....fun stuff.

And I love your avatar. While partying at some young friends' place this evening, I heard a kid start trying to say Stevie died of an overdose. It was good to set him straight.

Actually, one of the kids who brought it up was telling that old tale: that Stevie would play til his callouses fell off, then he'd tape em back on. ( My son had just been showing off his drumming callouses - whew! Talk about NASTY! Makes me glad to only play guitar!).

It makes me happy when the "yoot" care about Stevie. Play on, toddzilla!!!!!!
