20. Gray Davis: A Winner

Sorry about the site. We're having some technical difficulties. The fact is, Gray Davis was brought down by a true right-wing conspiracy. Enron and Pete Wilson had more to do with the California Power Crisis (which ultimately led to Davis's downfall), than Davis EVER did. Davis's recall was part of a Republican theme: stealing elections that they can't win. Gray Davis really cared about California and America. Arnold cares about power.

Davis's viewpoints are a great blend of "socially liberal" and "fiscally conservative" enough to win over a large following. We should start a DuGroup "Gray Davis", if possible.
