How many companies have you worked for?

I remember my third grade teacher telling us that we could all expect to hold an average of seven jobs in our lives. At the time I thought she was nuts but thinking back-- I'm 28 and just accepted a job with company #15.

So, including crappy summers jobs and temping, how many different companies have you worked for?

2. Only one.

Been at the same place for a little over 20 yrs now. And getting ready to go to work right now.

Regal Cinemas (3 years as a projectionist)
HMT (Made Hard drive platters) plant closed
Advanced Power Technology (We made parts for the international
space stations power supply)
Brothers Cleaning (Janitor at KEZI in Eugene)
Nordstrom's factory(40 hours a week of removing plastic from female clothing)
Auto parts Warehouse (Moved large tubs of cleaners and starters)
Qualex (worked at photo lab making photo Cd's of porn and suicides.)
Portland Community College (Data Entry)
Portland Community College (Ran the TV station)
I taught high school for a while and it sucked.
Now I just manage to get by. Odd jobs and such.

Shit, that is a lot of crappy jobs for only working for the last seven years.
