Actually, this site is not a polemic against Wicca, but rather, a polemic against those who follow it for superficial reasons.

Pretty funny stuff.

1. I am most certainly not a fluffbunny and am from one of oldest running

covens in N.America. This person has some truth to what they say, but they still use it as a means to justify elitism in regards to Magick (I like Crowley as well)... So uhmmm I just sense a bit too much hypocrisy in this uber rant for me to do anything other than laugh at him and blow it off like the hundreds of other times Ive heard such things. Nothing new in what they have to say at all.

Though it did get me to respond here,I guess thats more than Ive done in response before...bleh, live and let live.

2. I read a lot of the sight and it seems to me that anyone really wanting

to be Wiccan already knows what he posted. Most books I've read tell you the history of Wicca, it's different traditions and it pluses and minuses.

Because of your initiation you already are most likely aware of everything he has to say on his sight.

As far as magic(k) is concerned. I believe a lot of people have the powers yet don't recognize them as magic. You don't have to be a Wiccan to have magical powers.

The people I know who are Wiccan would not be bothered by this site and most likely would get a chuckle out of it.

but it still comes off as quite elitist, which Im sure was also part of the point.

doesnt matter anyway... Fundies are after our pagan agenda so we can all live and die in the camps together, and then we'll eat the fluffbunnies in a stew.

4. I'd feel a whole lot better if the last election was won by lots of

pagans voting rather then lots of fundies. Pagans don't wish me any harm and they're a whole lot more fund to be around.

6. Oh I dont know, theres some pretty fundie mindset type Wiccans as well

some of 'em would like to give back what fundies have so generously given them over the years... if ya know what I mean.
