Poll question: What are the chances YOU will have a 'white Christmas'? |
|
Edited on Fri Dec-17-04 02:15 PM by Cuban_Liberal
What are the weathermen saying about your chances for snow on Christmas? Ours is about 50-50, at this point, which is right on target with the historical trend: last year, nothing, but Christmas 2002, 14" of snow.

The closest we ever came to a white Christmas was an ice storm a few days after (or before, I forget).

so it just needs to last another week; judging by the forecast, I don't think it'll be gone by then.

|
So, if I pass over Greenland, I'll consider that a White Christmas. It does snow quite a bit in Edinburgh, where I live, but not often at Christmas.

I'm told it has snowed here, but it never sticks. The only snow I've seen since moving here is on the mountain tops, and it doesn't even last more than a day or two up there.

Still, I'm from Green Bay, WI. Snow is vastly over-rated.

29. It actually has snowed once or twice here in Phoenix. |
|
Once a light dusting actually stuck to the ground.
But very, very unlikely to happen.
