I didn't get the promotion. RANT!

Had an interview on Wednesday for a promotion from PT to FT and then some.

I didn't get past the screening interview because I told them I wasn't interested in earning an MLS (Library Master's) degree.

I'm happy with my position, I only wanted full-time and to work in a gorgeous (and closer) new branch. I should have had it sewn up; even the branch manager wanted me (but you didn't hear that from me) but she, of course, was not on the screening panel.

:grr:

Thanks for listening; I'll be okay once my hubby takes me to dinner complete with a bottle of wine! He better...
