I watched "I, Robot" last night
I liked it.

Wasn't it a remake of a Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episode?

1. THERE you are!
Matcom was convinced you were about to attack him earlier.

:hi:

I thought "I, Robot" was an Asimov book.

2. Correct you are. It was an Asimov book.
The movie (I haven't seen it yet) was, to my understanding, very loosely based on the book.

8. Novel by Asimov.
Right.

I also read online that the film took the title of Asimov's "I, Robot" novel but its plot was a mish-mash of several of his books.

23. Collection of short stories, actually
and the plot really had nothing to do with any of them, or any of his novels

13. Like most movies -Based on the book-
The screenwriters and director were inspired by the title and the cover art. They never read the book it might get in the way of their creative thinking.

6. it is a GREAT Alan Parsons Project album
The story of the rise of machine and the decline of man,

which paradoxically coincided with his discovery of the wheel...

And a warning that his brief dominance of this planet will

probably end, because man tried to create robot in his own image.

I am the Modren Man.

I've got a secret
I've been hiding under my skin

My heart is human
my blood is boiling
my brain I.B.M.
So if you see me acting strangely
don't be surprised

15. This may terrify you...
but the whole "Kilroy Was Here" albom was originally conceived to be the score for a full-length feature film about a renegade rocker ("Kilroy") infiltrating and exposing the fascist intentions of a PMRC-esque anti-rock coalition.

In the story, "Kilroy" sneaks into the mansion of the Pat Robertson-esque leader's estate by wearing a hollowed-out "Robato", a type of Japanese-manufactured servant robot.

The film was never made.

21. The song was bad enough!
My boyfriend when I was 16 had that hideous cassette, and he played it all the time when we went out on dates. Have you ever been parking with a guy who screams, "I'm KILROY!!!" in the middle of, erm, heated passion?

19. I liked it, too. I wasn't expecting to.
It's based very loosely on the books, though. But the pacing and special effects were awesome.

Although I have not read the book. Some of the character development was a little shabby but overall I liked it.
