2. If you're a gambler or a prostitute....
JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING!

I promise...I have several good friends who live in Las Vegas--one's an accountant and the other is a retired filmmaker. They like it there. I don't really care for it, though.

:)

3. Cool?
I was there in August for work a few years ago and the last day it was 113 degrees Farenheit. So probably no.

4. I hear it's not so great...
Unless you want to feed your gambling addiction, or want to work in a casino or some show, you might as well live in Bakersfield or Akron.

9. And I've heard that it really sucks for kids.
As it grows this may change, but one of my friends in high school moved there. She said that it was really dull. Later she started going over to the strip and getting in all sorts of trouble, which solved the boredom problem, but...

I've also heard from a few adults that once the novelty of the strip wears out, then it is really dull. Some people are really into that mentality, though.

6. Great city to visit....

livin' there....hmmm, not for me. Theres worse places. For me the best thing is the great entertainment options (besides gambling)...but beyond that there isn't much going for it in my book, and a few things that are definite negatives. Traffic, crime, high cost of living, weak educational system, lot of drugs, prostitution, issues w/ illegal immigrant population, water accessibility problems....but hey, I go out there at least once a year for about a week for the fun of it...and it is fun!

But then I don't drink much water when out there....

7. No.
It's sort of my idea of hell because of all that phoniness.
