| Hockey fans - Larionov's farewell game on Comcast tonight |

One of the top few Russian forwards of all time played his send-off exhibition game a week or so ago, w/ a team of Russian stars vs. a team from around the world. They're airing the game on cable tonight.
this guy was one of the classiest and most skilled players ever. He had a tour-de-force in the 88 olympics, and came over to the NHL after Glasnost to dazzle NA audiences for the 2nd half of his career. If you're jonesing for hockey and like the game on the international surface, probably will b worth a look just for his career highlight reel.

I rememebr when him and Crouton...I mean Krutov first came to Vancouver. He uses a straight stick too.

Makarov and Krutov, are the coaches of the Russian team for the game. Christ, they look old. Good thing I don't :shrug:
