Are people just dumb or pure EVIL?

Lady got on the bus today with a big shopping bag. Took the seat behind me, hit me in the head with said shopping bag.

I turned around expecting an apology. "Don't worry, it just hit you in the head?" she said :shrug:

Gee. Like I don't deserve simple respect? :eyes:

3. I think we have GOT to start responding to these idiots, since they're

getting a free pass everywhere they go. Being "polite" just to avoid confrontation doesn't help them see they are over the line. (Of course, I've never had much respect for "expected politeness", I mean the kind that says make nice, let someone stomp on you, don't make a scene, people are watching....etc.)

Nothing earth shattering, just something simple and direct. Like "How dare you treat me like that." Said quietly, calmly with a level gaze at their eyes. Hold the gaze a moment.

Just my 2cents.
