Really, when I am up in the Maryland-Delaware border towns, they sell Maryland fries in which they put old bay on the fries. Oh and another thing about me is that I love porn, and I am angry that my porn isn't that good today.

That's unfortunate to hear, especially in the manner you are describing. It's hard for a show to last more than 3-4 seasons before format becomes formula and it all starts to deteriorate.

Can't go to Washington and turn my back (literally) on Inauguration Day (wish I could), so I'm going to a street corner near me and join others in protest. We have to keep on telling the truth, no matter what. Our so-called "leaders" ought to be tried for treason. They've hijacked our country like terrorists. I'm angry, too, but mostly angry at my fellow Americans for not seeing it coming, and for mostly not giving a damn about what's really happening. They'd rather watch "Desperate Housewives" and "The Apprentice" than make things right for the generations that come after us. Sorry, that's my opinion.

The media isn't doing their job, but that doesn't excuse people from knowing what's going on in their country. Ill is a good word to describe how this maladministration makes me. Not physically ill (yet,) but it's often invading my thoughts.
Right now, I'm off to bed. That's the something about me. :-)

Welcome to DU, there-s a!!! So glad to have you with us!!! Animal lovers are always especially welcome!:hi:
I used to have a rat, as well, Barnaby, a black-and-white hooded rat, who was my rat for experimental psych, in college. *cringe* He was very smart and very calm, so my graphs turned out perfectly, earning me a solid B in what was a pretty tough course. I, obviously, became very fond of him, and was horrified at their plans for him, after the semester was over. So I was very careful of him, only doing studies involving lights turned on or off, which wouldn't harm him, and brought him home with me, after the course was over. Rats can be wonderful pets, but I was never fond of his tail, LOL, but I loved him! He went totally nutty for cheese or apples! :loveya:

gorgeous out, i am in the best mood! plus, it awakens my creativity.
sadly, i live where it rains a lot, so my dream is to have an airy bright cottage on a sandy beach someday. or at least live where the sun shines the majority of the time.

It doesn't rain so much out here as it does snows. The suns out today and it's gourgous...It's just so damn cold and the days seem so short. I feel like a vampire this time of the year. I get up for work and it's dark I come home and it's dark...It always good to see a little sunshine.
P.S. i love your new sig line ;-)

I'm a car enthusist and if its one thing i have said .... its that i will hold on to my car no matter how "tuff bush makes things" Its the one true thing that I enjoy and look forward to come spring. Is'nt there somehow you can cut corners and maybe sell the one to restore the better of the two? Suprising how much you can restore in a 2 year span. Its winter now.......so we work on the engine....powdercoating and a little chrome. Hate to see you get rid of what was once a dream.

APPLE CRANBERRY WALNUT BREAD
2 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 2 T vegetable oil 1½ cups all-purpose flour 1½ tsp baking powder 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 2 cups copped peeled tart apples 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and oil. Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; add to egg mixture just until combined (batter will be quite thick). Stir in apples, cranberries and walnuts.
Transfer to an 8-in x 4-in x 2-in loaf pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
NOTE: This wound up being too much batter for an 8 x 4 pan - it spilled over. Next time I'll be using a 9 x 5 pan.
Also - I didn't peel the apples. I just chopped them in my food processor with the peel.
I was going to freeze the bread for Christmas Eve, but it's already half gone! Even the kids like it. I'll have to make another loaf!

It would be too wet.
I used fresh cranberries. You could probably get away with dried ones, though.

I'll start with chicken soup for the cold, but don't know what to do about the knee. I hurt it about 12 years ago by trying to lift something I shouldn't. Got twinges from time to time but about 2 days ago it started to steadily ache. BOOO ! I don't need either one of these right now.

Im just getting over the unexpected death of my husband three years ago. I found him dead and had to call 911. I own a small wine distributorship which I am trying to sell. I have three grown children and am a very nice person, according to almost everyone I know. Anything else you want to know will have to be presented at a later date.
