and all the snow is sliding off the steel roof. Sounds like a plane crashing into the house. :(

4. It's 21 degrees here in SW Ohio
It's supposed to sleet here today too. Tommorrow it will be snowing and 24 degrees when my Bengals take on the Bills.

5. Cold here in Cincinnati...
and I hate it! My belief is, if it is cold, there might as well be snow, and we get snow so infrequently here.

6. We're supposed to get colder air tomorrow in D.C.
We've had a very temperate fall, up until this past week it hadn't been cold at all. I don't think we'll have a big snow storm anytime soon. They're calling for flurries on Monday.

7. No more minus 80 wind chill factors?
No more several foot base of snow?

That's how it used to be when I was there.

That was on the Kuskokwim, about 100 miles from Nome as the crow flies.

Whereabouts are you?

8. New Hampshire
In southern NH, we've been cold the last couple of days, but as far as I can figure it's a weird start to winter. We've had one minor snowfall, but nothing since, and, at least in the time I've been up here, we've had the first major snowfall by now. So, not warm by any measure, but still odd.

9. back to "normal" here in Phoenix -- hi's in the 70's lows in the 40's
but we had three weeks of very wet and cold weather during Thanksgiving that was unusual

no climate changes here, nothing to see now, move along.....
