|
Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 12:21 PM by Cuban_Liberal
From the time I can first remember, we had this wooden 'US States' puzzle, and my sisters would play 'schoolteacher' and make me put it together, since I was always the 'student'. I could do it in my sleep nowadays, I think.

We have to learn somehow. :) I did ok on this, but it is a pretty touchy map. If you are 10 miles off it takes away points.

It's tough to place them when you have no reference. 60% with an error margin of 61 miles. 30 perfect out of 50.

and I was just barely off, not too bad I guess. Its hard to place those land-locked states exactly right when you have nothing to go by. It all depends on the order they give them to you.

I had the hardest time with two squarish inland red states early on in the game. Knowing where a state is didn't seem to translate to being able to plunk it down precisely within the borders when there were no other states around to align it with.
It got much easier to achieve precision in the drag and drop as the game progressed and borders were more visible
