3. My vote goes to Kobe
He is one of the best players in the league as well as Shaq, Kobe has more years left in the tank so that is who my vote goes to.

4. Kobe
I still think he's a cutie even though he needs to learn some self-control.

5. Shaq is a walking atrocity...horrible
Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 04:50 PM by SemiCharmedQuark
Terrible player...
I hate that the trend for the game is heading toward big clumsy oafs with little to no skills.

I don't like Kobe as a person, but he runs circles around Shaq as a player.

6. big clumsy oafs with little to no skills
you obviously have not seen much of Shaq in action if you believe he is nothing more than a big clumsy oaf. He has great court sense, is an incredible passer, has an amazingly quick drop step, and can actually bring the ball upcourt. Ask the guys who defend him if he is a clumsy oaf, and I think they would pull a muscle laughing.

10. Ok ok, unfair to Shaq.
Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 05:10 PM by SemiCharmedQuark
I have to admit I'm not a Shaq fan. Watching him foul again and again and again and get away with it is incredibly obnoxious. Plus he's an arrogant shit.

Also, I think his greatest asset is far and away his size. Which I guess is just the luck of the draw in genetics. I mean, nobody can really stand up to 7 foot 1 of 300+ pounds.

12. I don't think he's that arrogant.
He's no worse than the rest of the NBA and he's damn good.

He's a consensus pick as being one of the three best centers to ever play the game...

Shaq, Bill Russell, and Wilt...

8. kobe may be young and have krazy mad skillz..
but the dude is poison. I would be surprised if he is still playing past his 30th birthday.

For the record, I am a die-hard Lakes fan, and have been since the mid 70s.

11. Shaq
The Lakers are nothing without them. Shaq is serious, a pro and knows how to win. Kobe is a chump.

16. Kobe is also a cancer in the locker room.
He's a self-centered, 40% or less field goal percentage shooting, punk. Athletic? Hell, yes. Teammate? Fuck, no.

21. Shaq Is The Real Deal...
On and off the court...

A little story....

I live in Central Florida where Shaq has one of his homes and I got a autographed picture from Bill Clinton that I went to have framed..
While I was at the framing shop I noticed a huge Shaq jeresy that was framed... The owner told me he framed it for the parents of a little kid... The kid saw Shaq at a restaurant and asked for his autograph... Shaq went out to his car and got a jersey, autographed it, and gave it to the little kid...

Awesome...
