I mean both her and Kurt were heavy into heroin, so that does something to you no matter what.
But I believe she and Kurt really loved each other and I think his death *really* messed her up and she went more into drugs and alcohol. I feel really bad for Frances Bean, its almost like she lost both parents. :(

I do feel a certain sympathy for the life she has. She was awfully young to have suffered such a loss, single parenthood and drug addiction. I know it's more fashionable to laugh at the public spectacle she's made of herself, but I just see her as someone far more emotionally fragile than she wants to be, and in way too deep.

She is not unique. Lots of people have had shitty upbringings, chemical dependencies, and loved ones who committed suicide, and have managed to pull themselves together for the sake of themselves and their children, and done it without her monetary and career advantages. I feel sorry for her child, but she is a laughable waste who doesn't understand the extent of her responsibilities. She's basically W. without the enabling parents.
