Because I love these picture posting threads so much...and I'm still not quite into the seasonal spirit...

Grab your camera and go post a picture of your tree, house lights, menorahs...anything that gets you in the spirit this time of year. If you're not into the holidays, then maybe post a winter scene...something to get everyone in the mood...

7. My husband took it on Thursday

on the way to work. We watched the sunrise for about an hour, and the ray coming up was like a fountain of light. We had to wait until we got to a safe place to take the photo. My husband just got the camera, and this was his second or third photo, so he thanks you very much for your kind words.

8. What mountains are those?

My guess, Blue Ridge in Virginia or Berkshires in Mass.?

10. The Arkansas Ozarks

The photo was taken from Gaither Mountain outside Harrison AR. One of the mountains in the photo is named Boat Mountain. I don't know the name of the others. Folks who have lived here and in New England say the topography is similar to the Berkshires, which I hope to see one day.
