Would someone please get up and make me some coffee??
I'm on the DU and I can't get up. I've asked my 3 & 2 year-old, they just give me a blank stare. Oh, and could you change my son's diaper while you're up? I've been up since 6:30, fed them, changed him once, helped her go potty, gotten their breakfast, gotten them dressed, put in a load laundry, emptied the dishwasher and I just sat down. Please, someone help me out.... lol

1. I've been begging my dog to do the same all morning.
The selfish pup said she won't until she's finished the laundry.

10. Spouse-free since OCT 2004! And very happy, thank you.
You're probably not married to a lying, cheating, turned hypocritical religious fundamentalist. Just a guess.

13. yes - you got that right.
glad to hear that you got out of that situation. I usually am sad to hear of marriages breaking up, but in a case of a lying, cheating and <ugh> hypocritical fundy - i am glad you got out.

Any plans to look for a new one - or is that the end of the marriage thing for you.

PS - my wife is on the way with a big thermos of coffee for you :-)

16. I haven't ruled marriage out completely...
Just turned-off by the thought of finding someone just for the sole purpose of marriage. But if I find myself in a caring relationship with a good liberal man, I would consider marriage.

9. I taught my kids to make coffee
when they were about 3. As soon as they were tall enough to reach the sink. I highly recommend it. They are in their 20s now and they make great coffee.

14. Two days in a row. I was making coffee at work, but today I'm home.
I'm having green tea, but what I really wanted was coffee. I have a nice southern pecan blend I bought at the bakery next to my store and I can't find a thing I could strain it through. I'm even out of paper towels.

15. You're having a bad morning
Edited on Sun Dec-19-04 11:14 AM by aQuArius
Sometimes I wish Starbucks would deliver... Its less than a block away, its even a drive through, but then I'd have to get up and get shoes on me and the kids and that might take more work than making the coffee, lol.

17. Nah, I'm just happy to have a day off, but it *is* such a coffee day
It's cold and snowy and I'm lounging around in my comfy yoga pants and my husband's sweatshirt. I wish I had my 5 year old's energy. I'd go on a whirlwhind cleaning spree.
