Saw The Aviator last night...no spoiler, just my mini-review

I was so excited to see The Aviator, but I have to say I was excruciatingly bored throughout the whole movie. Howard Hughes was a fascinating person and I think his story could have been written far better!

However, it's probably worth seeing just for the performances. Leonardo Dicaprio is exceptional and I'd like to see him pick up some awards. Cate Blanchett plays Kate Hepburn and is a bit over the top, but mostly gives an enjoyable performance and Kate Beckinsale was fabulous.

Jude Law was in the film for 30 seconds. He has to be in everything, I guess.

I'd give it *** out of *****. :-)
