Anyone have a recipe for turkey legs?
They're on sale at the local grocery store for a really good price, but, I don't know what to do with them. If I knew how to cook them I'd pick some up, two big legs for a 1.29 it's just too good to pass up.

1. I'd sprinkle them with....
...salt, pepper and a little sage and roast them in the oven at about 325 and cook them until the juices run clear. I have no idea how long that'll take though.

2. BTW...
...don't let speed_addiction at them. He might start a fire fight with his fun_bubbles.

3. You could boil them
and use the broth for soup stock. The meat could be trimmed from the bones and used in the soup or in a stir fry or a curry. I took my leftover turkey legs to work to eat for lunch one day, but they had been oven baked with the rest of the bird. I think it would be difficult to bake just the legs and get them done properly.

4. I'd just roast them!
What's the difference between the legs and the whole bird, anyway? Whip up some stuffing, buy a pie and hit it.

5. Roasting sounds good, but
for how long and at what temp? Boiling them then shredding the meat adding cooked noodles noodles and smothering them in turkey gravy crossed my mind.

6. Google the minutes-per-pound info. I'm sure it's there somewhere.
Mmmmm...turkey gravy...
