I was cold walking the dog even wearing wind pants over my jeans, a fleece jacket underneath my big winter coat, a scarf, and a hat under the hood over my head. It's really windy too. I really hate cold weather.

You would think that a dog who stays inside most of the time would get cold outside when it is really cold. No, he seems to actually like it. When there is snow, he rolls around in it and pounces around. I suppose that he might be more playful in order to keep warm, but he isn't shivering for sure. Really, I don't want my dog to be freezing or anything. He just seems to want to spend more time outside when it is cold, which is something that I don't want. He is an American eskimo.

They just love the snow, but your dog being an American Eskimo, no wonder! :)

That's a cold one. It's 9c today, and supposed to go down to -22 Tuesday. All these severe weather ups and downs are getting more pronounced here.

I hated those cold NY winters. Here in Seattle it's about 45, high of about 48 today. It may be grayer than back east and rain more, but it's definitely warmer.
