Poll question: Bath or shower?
Which do you prefer most?

My routine is a combination of both, but the tub portion is the best part (particularly if my body is aching).

Quick hot shower just to get wet, soak in the tub for as long as I can, another quick shower to rinse off.

5. Or hot tub.
Although I really wouldn't consider that bathing.

Bathing outdoors (stream, pond or lake).

10. Sponge bath here
It's much easier to heat a bucket of water to wash with than it is enough water to take a bath, that I'm stuck with the sponge.

4. Definitely shower.
When you take a bath, you end up floating around in your own dirt (unless the bath is being used for reasons other than a simple, utilitarian scrubdown!) ;-)

6. Both.
I shower in the morning, and take a bath at night, most days.

7. Me too...

I can't leave the house without a shower in the morning, but I need a night-time bath to sleep.

9. Yep.
I have a degenerative form of arthritis, and the lovely heat helps the pain sooooo much.

8. Bathtub is 5' long (outside dimension)
So it's much less than 5' inside; I'm 6' tall. So, if my body is in up to my neck, my knees are outta the water, and if my knees are in, then a good part of me is outta the water, getting chilled. :::sigh:::

16. I prefer baths, but end up taking showers
My bathtub is really small, like kids' sized, and makes leisurely bathing not terribly fun.

I love going to hotels and just soaking for an hour or so with a good book. :D

17. Like any good Romano-Briton ...
... I prefer a bath. But, then, sometimes I get in a hurry, and a shower must do. Seriously, though, a bath can be very relaxing, and I feel much cleaner after taking a bath.

Are we bored, or what? ;)

18. It depends.
Normally a shower, but on occasion a nice, hot bath is just awesome.

21. I alternate every other day...
I only need to wash my hair every other day, so I shower on those days. I bathe on the other days so I can shave my legs more easily!

22. I just emerged from both.
I took a hot back to soothe my muscles. Read a little, had a little root beer, had a nice soak. After I was done soaking, I took a hot shower to rinse off and wash my hair.

23. I prefer showers
If the hot water didn't run out, I'd probably never leave the shower.
