Please forgive me, but .... |
|
my furnace is down, and my chihuahua has a gimpy leg due to some genetic patellar defect. I haven't bought my Christmas gifts yet ... "Merry Christmas! My dog had to have a new knee ... thanks for your contribution!" I'm not usually whiny, but I'm freezing my ass off!

Hope things get better soon for you guys! That knees sounds like it might hurt a bit. You guys should turbo-snuggle under some warm blankets!

Luckily, I have three sweet dogs that don't mind cuddling to keep me warm. Thank you!

We had that happen last winter. It was just awful. I ran out to Wal Mart to get some of those little electric room heater. They were the only place open all night and I just had to get some heat. Called the 24hr places in the phone book and the first appointment was two days away! One place put my name on a list and one of the guys saw it and luckily I was on his way home and he said he would stop on the way. He was like a god sent from heaven. It was just about 6 hrs but it sure gets cold fast without that furnace.
Hope the little guy is better. My little girl has that too but no symptoms yet. I was told to expect it though. She's seven.

musician boyfriend. It's since disappeared ... but even I would shop at Wal-Mart just to be warm, at this point! It sound like you "lucked" out - I hope for the same. You have a chi, too? They are the greatest. Mine just turned six, but she is a bit overweight. I was warned as well - but they downplayed it. I don't think it is painful, but uncomfortable ... she lets me rub it without wincing. I'll be visiting the vet tomorrow, so if I learn of treatment or precautionary measures, I'll be sure to pass them along! Thanks!

21. How did you do last night? |
|
Hope you are ok.
My little one is a toy poodle. She was my mom's and I got her when she passed away six years ago. She is a sweetheart. I never liked the little ones until her. She isn't overweight, maintains her 10bls and that's it! How did the vet go?

3. From what I understand... |
|
...you're not buying gifts for anyone because you had to spend the money fixing your doggie's patella? No need for apology there, IMO.
dogs > people, in general.
sorry about your furnace. it's a cold night...

Yep, I'm in the 'burgh. If you don't mind me asking, what line of work do you do? It sounds miserable! My job is only psychologically so ...

I started again election day. I think "one more" just might be my mantra, otherwise I've been in bed hours ago. Jameson works wonders ;) I'm not sure if it's the smoke or my breath freezing.

Get all the eyes nice and red, the oven up to 400 ( open the door). you can boil some water on that stovetop and the extra humidity will make it feel warmer. We did that once when we had no heat and at least the kitchen was tolerable.
Just shut it down before you sleep!
