Harrison Ford to star in the first movie based on the war of lies in Iraq
http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/#celeb1
Film legend Harrison Ford has agreed to star in Hollywood's first movie about November's second Iraq conflict, The Battle Of Falluja. US General Jim Mattis - who halted the first assault on the city by American marines in April - will be played by Ford in the controversial film, which goes into production next year. It will be based on war correspondent Bing West's unfinished book No True Glory: The Battle For Falluja. West explains, "If America needs a hard job done, the marines will do it, and they won't lose their humanity in the process or any sleep over pulling the trigger. Yes, they are 'the world's most lethal killing machine'. That's what America needs in battle."

Course to me, the whole movie sounds like Propaganda. I mean, the whole word about about 50% of the United States knows that the war is a failure. So I guess they need to get a Harrison Ford movie out there to try to boost the ratings of the war

1. Apparently they think
that if 'Murcans see it on the screen, they think it is real. Think of how many people voted for Schwartzenegger because of the Terminator. Or still think John Wayne was a big war hero. It's disgusting. Harrison Ford has gone down in my esteem if he has agreed to be part of a propaganda flick.

3. Well, Americans bought the John Wayne
Action Hero image during WWII.....this must be the second coming.

Of course, I did agree to wait and give time for the screen play to emerge....to be fair to Harrison Ford....

5. Those whacked-out PABAAH people are boycotting him
and are planning to boycott the movie apparently.

I frankly have no idea how the movie is going to go. I think it is possible that it will be something other than a glorification of gulf war II, but I doubt that's likely. I'm going to wait and see for the time being.

9. They've been doing that for a while
Opening it in a new window will do the trick. I guess they can't handle the criticism or the increase in site traffic. :D

8. I've never heard of PABAAH until your post...............
so I decided to check them out. Guess what? They won't allow access to their website from DU because they "don't like the site I came from". They don't like we DUers! The feeling is mutual.
After checking out their pathetic little site, I can conclude that they're just another hate site with a few members and a moronic agenda. They hate everything that doesn't fit their extremely narrow view of the world.
And guess what? They set a NEW RECORD on December 17th. Drum roll please...........they had the most members online at one time! 33. Yep, I wonder how their server can handle the overload? 33 hate filled morons online at the same time! Congratulations PAPAAH.
I'm nominating them for "biggest loser of the year website". FR has held that title for many years running, but it's time to move on and recognize these jackasses for their gross stupidity and their overwhelming member support. :eyes:
Marginalized nut cases, nothing to worry about there.

6. You know why this sounds so bogus to me?
Because Harrison played a role in a movie which exposed the president for the farce that he is. Why is he doing a phony Arnold Swarznegger now?
