Yes last night we experienced a true weather phenomenon-a massive sudden flurry of snow with lightning streaking across the sky and huge thunder claps.
!!!THUNDER SNOW!!!
Right dead in the city of Richmond last night from 8-9PM. Think God is trying to tell us something. My wife and I were across the street at a Winter Solstice party (easily the most liberal crowd I have ever been around) so the obvious joke about God hating us for being a RED state wasn't mentioned....see it was a Winter Solstice party.
It just took me 45 minutes to drive 3 miles on a city street and before all you NAWthenuhs start talking about Southun drivers it is BAD!!! I just called my wife and told her that he doesn't need to even try getting to work until after noon.
A co-worker of mine wiped out on our slanted ice sheet of a parking lot. She had to be helped up, she literally couldn't get back up on her feet.
!!!THUNDER SNOW!!!

10. We didn't get any 'real' accumulation |
|
...but I did experience the Thunder Snow. Last time I experienced Thunder Snow, I was living in CT and it was also lightning. Quite a sight. And, even though no accumulation, school was delayed for two hours, woo hooo!!!!

9. What part of town are you in... |
|
I'm in Ginter Park. We had the Thunder Snow last night and the "mystery booms" before that. Have you heard any of those?

11. We keep saying that the |
|
mysterious booms are my friend Mike (notorious cheapskate) turning over in his grave because his wife won the holiday lights display in the neighborhood.
