Any Active Directory gurus here? (Stupid mistake made)
I fucked up. Yes, I did. I'm stupid. I enabled Guest account on my Win 2003 Active Directory server trying to hook up with a Win98 computer, and as a result, crashed the entire Active Directory. I am trying to disable the guest account manually so it can work. Any ideas? I've been Googling for an answer, but so far, I'm shit out of luck. Any ideas? (BTW, that Win98 computer has since been upgraded to 2000 out of sheer frustration)

Thanks in advance...

The Active Directory has our users and domains. Right now, they both don't work, and I'm trying to figure out if there's a workaround and "hack" into the Active Directory and disable the guest account that I enabled. If I can do that, and then reboot, it'll probably work again.

Thanks in advance!

BTW, do you have IM? You can PM me it -- it'd make it easier for me to work with you real time..

3. Why would enabling the guest account blow up your domain?

I think there may be another problem. But what you need to do is restore AD.

You will need your Windows 2003 CDROM to use the Active Directory restore mode.
