3. "Mad-Eye" Moody
He had a large part in #4 (sort of - I can't say more for fear of spoilers) and some small appearances in #5.

They're one of the few books that's an extremely easy read and still a great story.

11. length
HBP "A bit shorter" than OotP

We've also received confirmation from Bloomsbury that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is "a bit shorter" than Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. (MuggleNet reported this this morning.)

14. Yeah
I saw this earlier today. My daughter let out a war hoop of joy when I told her. At least we do not have to wait three years for the next book.

12. Why do people READ these damn books???
I mean, I have friends in Med School, and super-freakin' genius friends who READ THESE BOOKS! They tried their best to convert me, but I couldn't get past the first bloody page, it was tooooooo painful.

And I read them. I was late to the party, but I read the first one in a single sitting and was hooked.

13. Just pre-ordered my copies from amazon!
(not that one can pre-ordering anything - I mean, for the last 39 years of my life, I've been in a state of "pre-ordering" the book; today I just plain fucking ORDERED the book, but Amazon wants to call it pre-ordering, so what the hell, but if I catch any of you DUers using sloppy language like this, I'm gonna have Skittles kick your ass, and then GOPisEvil is gonna repeatedly drive over your broken body until it's a liquid)
